SPECIAL PROJECTS - Completed with sweat equity of Rotary members & family

• Fort Lauderdale Beach clean-up - cleaned up so. Ft. Lauderdale beach fall ‘08
• Thanksgiving Baskets - Participated in distribution of 700 Thanksgiving dinners
• Elder Care Gift Bags - Created and delivered 500 gift bags to elderly shut-ins
• Salvation Army Bell Ringing - manned 6 locations & raised $4,800
• Challenge Air - volunteer pilots, planes and ground help enabled disabled children to experience the freedom of flight
• Waterway Clean-up - volunteer boats and crews cleaned local waterways
• Bahamas Book Project - shipped 6 pallets of books to Freeport, Bahamas
• Bahamas Schools - collected, packed & shipped 40' container of books, desks, chairs, computers, and other school supplies worth approx. $90,000 to Bahamas
• Project Stable - repair facilities that enable disabled kids the experience & freedom of riding horses
