News of the Weird

John Siegle reported on the most

outlandish lawsuits of 2009.

 

 

 

Winners:

Scott Montgomery won a key chain donated by

Jerry Rosenthal (Tire Hut).  Bill Wheeler

purchased the flowers donated

by Kathy's Florist. 

 

 

The pot is now up to $411

 

   

                  

 

Other Business:

Fred Anderson presented a check in the amount of $10,000 which was donated by Shirley Stone as part of Art's legacy and to start a scholarship in his name.

 

Terry Robinson introduced scholarship recipient Paul, who thanked the club for helping him attend college.  He attends Nova University and majors in in Biology.

PROGRAM 

Judge Rosenberg introduced attorney, David Bogenschutz. Judge Rosenberg state that Mr. Bogenschutz is one of the finest attorneys in the area which consists of over 8,000 attorneys in Broward Count alone.  He spoke about large amount of political corruption cases in the state attorneys office.  He state that there is a unit that specializes in these types of cases and he has represented several public officials.  He then had a question and answer period.

 

 

FOUR WAY TEST

  Of the things we think, say or do:      

    1.   Is it the TRUTH?

       2.   Is it FAIR to all concerned?

       3.   Will it build GOOD WILL and   

              BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

       4.   Will it be BENEFICIAL to all

              concerned?
