PROGRAM

Linda Cooke introduced Dr. Gregory Cohn who is Board certified in Internal Medicine specializing in prevention through comprehensive risk factor modification in adults with existing cardiovascular disease and those at high risk of cardiovascular disease.  Dr. Cohn stated that in this country we don't focus on the prevention of cardiovascular disease.  Smoking, drinking and the lack of exercise takes off 12 years of our life.  The process of blockage in the arteries starts when we are young and only gets worse over the years.  Our current system does not allow a doctor to diagnose and figure out a treatment plan with patients.  Dr. Cohn has limited the size of his practice which allows him to spend quality time with his patients and he devises a medical plan for them.  He is available to them 24/7.  He stated that this type of practice is a growing trend in certain parts of the country.

FOUR WAY TEST

Of the things we think, say or do:

    1.   Is it the TRUTH?

       2.   Is it FAIR to all concerned?

       3.   Will it build GOOD WILL and

              BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

       4.   Will it be BENEFICIAL to all

              concerned?
