PROGRAM

Dr. Bob Easton introduced Bob Swindell who was named President and CEO of Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward Economic Development Alliance.  In his 7 years at the Alliance he was instrumental in bringing more than 10,500 direct jobs to our county, retaining more than 10,000 jobs and generating more than $700 million in capital investment.  The Alliance welcomes entrepreneurs the opportunity to work with them and help them learn about all Greater Fort Lauderdale has to offer their business.  Broward County-Greater Fort Lauderdale fosters and promotes business attraction, recruitment, retention, expansion and new capital investment.  Broward County offers a quality of life unrivaled anywhere in the US, has a reputation for clean, competitive industries, has a well-educated, motivated, diverse and capable workforce, has institutions of higher learning, specializing in research and development, just to name a few.  Bob then had a question and answer period.

FOUR WAY TEST

Of the things we think, say or do:

    1.   Is it the TRUTH?

       2.   Is it FAIR to all concerned?

       3.   Will it build GOOD WILL and

              BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

       4.   Will it be BENEFICIAL to all

              concerned?
